Swype for android has been around a while now and I didn't really get all the fuss after installing the beta a while back ( 3 months or so) I wasn't impressed, it didn't really work and was a royal pain in the a$$ to get working.
Well I thought I would give it another go and WOW! If you haven't signed up already (oh yeah you need to be rooted for now) go to http://www.swypeinc.com and check it out and sign up.
It currently doesn't work on the MIUI Roms but works fine on the sense roms, tested fine with RCmixS and Leedroid.
I have to say it is extremely addictive swyping your sentences and everything else, takes a bit of getting used to but I guarantee you will love it.

Android S-OFF HTC Desire
Ok so I am still fairly new to the world of Android and flashing custom ROMS etc but love it.
I thought I'd share this experience as after wasting a day pissing about with this that and the other to install a new shiny ROM I wanted to try, I found a way of S-OFFing my phone in abut 5 mins very easily.
So here's how to S-OFF your rooted desire the easy way.
Go here http://alpharev.nl/ and download the boot image and burn it to disk.
Go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957344 and download the latest versino of CM7 and flash it to your phone.
Boot your PC off of the disk you burnt from alpha Rev, plug your phone in and follow the instructions. (I recommened you flash the alpha rev recovery too very nice addition to the clockwork recovery).
And there you go, in total shouldn't take you more than 15 mins (depending on download speeds) and you will have a n S-OFF desire to play with.
Enjoy!
